dynamicDNSserverwhichisrunningIPManager.
• *IPMANAGER2:Thesecondaryserverforthedomain.
Whileitisoptionaltohavetwoserversconfigured,itis
highlyrecommended.
Tip: You can use a domain name instead of the IP address for your
IP Manager servers if you have DNS set up in your Raven XE.
• *IPMGRUPDATE1and *IPMGRUPDATE2:Howoften,
inminutes,youwanttheaddresssenttoIPManager.If
thisissettozero,themodemwillonlysendanupdateif
theIPaddresschanges(example,ifyourRavenXEisreset
orisassignedadifferentIPaddress).

keywhichisusedinsteadofAirLinksecretkeywhen

uniquebutalsoeasytoremember.Yourcompanynameorthe
intendedfunctionofthemodemarerecommended.Ifyou
havemorethanonemodemandwanttonamethemthesame,
youcanappendanumberforeach.Sinceit
isanInternet
domainname,therearesomerestrictionsforthename.

butzero,themodemwillsendtheupdatenotonlywhenit
receivesanewIPaddressbutatthetime
intervalaswell.The
datatrafficcouldbebilledbyyourcarrier.
